Hi there, everyone! This is our first podcast. This is a three-generation family podcast. I am Marlene, the oldest one in the group. My specialty is knowing a lot because I am a history and political junkee. This podcast will utilize the wisdom of my years, the second member is my very knowledgeable son, and my grandson, who is the gamer of the group. I worked with developmentally disabled (DD) individuals from birth to 3 years old and then from 21 to death. DD People are babies born with abnormal problems, or children who have had extreme trauma to their brains before the age of 18. Our group provided financial, emotional, and occupational assistance to their family.

This podcast addresses questions raised in our email or during discussions. If you have a question on anything, we will try to research it and provide an answer. We will answer you personally.

The question we are hearing a lot is What the HELL is going on in our government? How did we get to this destruction of our democracy? I will share with you my perspective, and then Bob can comment and elaborate on it.

Voting is what started the problem. Some eligible people didn't vote – this means they voted for whoever got in. Other voters were gerrymandered out of the possibility of voting, and votes were recalled in some states. Also, Musk purchased endorsements and votes by offering $1,000,000 to people who agreed to vote for Republicans. I believe that the Amish and other spiritual leaders took the case and then recommended that they vote for Republicans. This is obviously a form of graft.
